Alao-Akala died in Ogbomosho, Christopher Alao-Akala, the political warrior has gave up the ghost on 12, Jan. 2022 at his residence in Ogbomosho.
According to the sources, former Oyo State Governor, Alao-Akala was living healthy and playful yesterday before he died in his room.
According to insiders, the politician died in his Ogbomoso country residence on Wednesday morning after a long battle with a deadly illness.
He died in his room, according to a top source in the All Progressives Congress (APC), who confirmed his death to Daily Trust on Wednesday morning.
Late Alao Akala was the Governor of Oyo State between 2007 – 2011. He was born in June 1950 at Ogbomosho North Local Government Area Of Oyo State.
Alao-Akala attended Osupa Baptist Day Education in Ogbomoso for elementary school before transferring to Kamina Barracks Middle School, 5th Battalion of Infantry in Tamale, Ghana.
This is the third prominent Ogbomosho native to die in the past month.
