Jack Wilshere, an ex-Arsenal midfielder, has stated that the Gunners will not win the Premier League this season.
Wilshere, on the other hand, believes that if the board continues to back Mikel Arteta, the team will be able to achieve it in the future.

In the summer, Arteta spent £150 million on bringing in youthful talent to his squad.
His six new acquisitions, all of whom are under the age of 24, have ignited a resurgence at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal is currently in fourth place in the Premier League, 15 points behind the league leaders Manchester City.

Wilshere told talkSPORT:
“I think with the right backing and bringing the right players in.
“He [Arteta] definitely has a clear structure and philosophy of the way he sees football.
“Listen, they’re not going to win the league this year.
“But in the next two or three years, if they can get into the top four, get a few big signings in, give them time to settle and see how the manager wants them to play.”
