After Aston Villa’s 2-1 win over Tottenham on Wednesday night, former Chelsea captain John Terry ridiculed the north Londoners.
Spurs took the lead through Steven Bergwijn early on, but Villa responded with two goals in quick succession, one through Sergio Reguilon’s own goal and the other through Ollie Watkins’ strike.

Spurs have now lost their last home game in front of their own supporters, effectively ending their chances of finishing in the Europa League.
Spurs must defeat Leicester City on Sunday and hope West Ham loses to Southampton in order to finish in the Europa League places.
Spurs fans ridiculed Aston Villa manager John Terry by singing a chant about Ledley King (‘Oh Ledley, Ledley, He’s better than John Terry’) that disparages the Chelsea legend.
Terry reacted by turning to the crowd and lifting an imaginary trophy, despite the fact that he had won much more trophies than Spurs during his time at Chelsea.
After the match, the former Chelsea player proceeded to taunt Tottenham on Instagram, posting a video of his banter with Spurs fans, along with 17 trophy emojis and two crying-laughing emojis.
In a separate message, he took another shot at Tottenham, claiming that Chelsea used to refer to White Hart Lane as “Three Point Lane” because of their stellar record there.
He wrote, “Great way to bounce back tonight.” That was a fun one.
“Superb team performance. Different stadium, same old story. Three points…”
