Ondo Monarch Sacks By Hoodlum

Ondo Monarch Sacks by Hoodlum destroy property worth millions of Naira

Ondo Monarch

The latest news in Ondo reveal that Ondo Monarch sacks by hoodlum from the palace in the state , the king of Ogeloyinbo of Ayetoro, in the ilaje council area of the state, Oba Micah Ajijo.

Hoodlums invaded and forcefully sacked a traditional ruler in Ondo state, the Ogeloyinbo of Ayetoro, Oba Micah Ajijo, from his palace.

During the invasion and the forced removal of the monarch, naval officers invited from the nearby community in Lgbokoda saved the monarch from being abducted and injured.

The hoodlums who purportedly tried to kill him and remove him from the kingdom forcibly allegedly destroyed property worth millions of naira.

In a letter to the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, the king expressed concern about the attack and claimed that his problems began when he assumed the throne, as a result of a court decision that ousted Mr. Oluwanbe Ojagbohunmi, a local self-styled prophet.

The monarch claims that despite the court’s decision designating him as the community’s traditional leader and spiritual leader, Ojagbohunmi and his associates have been repeatedly acting against the court’s orders and endangering the community’s peace and security.

In the letter, Ajijo claimed that his assailants arranged a meeting in the neighborhood where they declared their intention to depose him by force.

To plan and coordinate with some kidnappers and criminals both inside and outside the community in order to break into the palace at night on the founder’s day of the community and church’s anniversary and abduct Oba Ajijo so that Ojagbohunmi could take over leadership of the community and the church.

The gangster’s invasion of the palace with lethal weapons, threats to assassinate the monarch, and destruction of valuables worth millions of naira is when the ideas were conceived.

The DPO expressed his inability to effect the arrest of the suspects due to the community’s riverine terrain as the gangsters destroyed two houses built close to the palace that belonged to Mr. Tokunbo Olasile and Rev. Iwasanmi Ajijo. The people reported the cruel acts of destruction to the police authorities in Igbokoda.

“Subsequently, the attack and devastation were reported to the Okitipupa Area Commander, Chairman of the Ilaje local government, and Officer in Charge of 19 Battalion, Army Barracks, Okitipupa. They visited and confirmed the aforementioned illegal activities.

According to a statement by the governor’s chief press secretary, Richard Olatunde, the committee’s formation was intended to bring an end to the devastating situation in the Aiyetoro community brought on by disagreements over matters involving leadership and oil disaster compensation.

Primate Afolabi Aboyewa is a member of the committee, while Mr. Uguoji Justice Brasin serves as its secretary. Dr. Olawunmi Ilawole is its chairman.

“The committee’s terms of reference include, but are not limited to, looking into the root causes of the conflict both far away and close at hand,” he said.

“To suggest suitable tactics that will resolve conflict, promote community growth, and bring opposing factions together.

“Any further suggestions that the Committee thought were necessary to maintain peace
